I have over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. During my varied career I have dealt with numerous types of pension, trust, protection plans and investments – I have built up a successful Practice managing funds for over 150 clients.
I have a wealth of knowledge about St. James's Place and the products and services that they offer and make use of my contacts from my time in head office. I am a part qualified actuary and have experience working abroad in Milan, Italy.
In my spare time I am a keen sports fan and help to run a very successful youth club at the Baptist Church in Cirencester.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.

Shrubsole Wealth Management was established in May 2015 after its Principal, Andy Shrubsole, accepted an invitation to join the St. James's Place Academy, launching the business in November of that year.
Based in Cirencester, the Practice is able to provide advice to clients across the South West of England.
The Practice’s approach is one of problem-solving for clients and, as a result, clients can expect to receive comprehensive and appropriate advice at all times. The business has enjoyed high levels of client advocacy and has grown purely through word-of-mouth, reflecting the long-term, trusted relationships which have been built between the Practice and its clients.
In April 2023, the Practice expanded and welcomed Matthew Corke in joining as an Adviser, with whom we look forward to being able to help even more people as a result of this exciting development.
